Delivering Continuity of Irish Securities Settlement in the Long Term Post Brexit

Euroclear has published a White Paper detailing our proposal for Euroclear Bank to become the Issuer CSD for Irish corporate securities as from March 2021. The White Paper is the outcome of an extensive consultation Euroclear has just completed with the Irish market through a Working Group and Steering Board and interaction with the Irish Authorities.

The White Paper describes:

  • why Euroclear Bank is a good fit for Irish corporate securities
  • the Euroclear Bank services that will be available for Irish corporate securities
  • the legal framework for Euroclear Bank as Issuer CSD for Irish corporate securities
  • the tariff framework for Irish corporate securities
  • the migration of Issuer CSD from Euroclear UK & Ireland to Euroclear Bank
